Sorry! I'm alive!
I'm back! I'm not going to be able to keep up with this as regularly as I had hoped, but I will at least try to keep it updated more than I have been. So, on with the new stuff.
The other day, I finished a pair of socks for my mom. Let me just say that Deborah Norville's Serenity sock yarn is a godsend. Now I'm working on something for myself. Namely, the Skew sock from Knitty.
This will prove to be a pretty defining moment for me as a sock-knitter for quite a few reasons.
- It's the first time I'll have knitted socks on two circular needles instead of on DPNs
- It's the first pattern I've ever followed that is anything other than a straight stockinette no-nonsense short-row-heel sock
- It's the first time I have ever knit on the bias
Anyway, I'm going to get back to Scrubs and knitting. Much love!
